Working on the house & Writing a new book...

Hello, all you sexy people.

Angels of the Mourning Light is out!!! Go & grab yourselves a copy or three; they make great gifts for everyone you know.My first signing is at Waldenbooks in LaVale, MD, on Saturday 27 June, 11-2 and I will be at Cover To Cover Bookstore in downtown Cumberland on Saturday 18 July 5-8. Saturday 11 July I will be at the Waldenbooks in the Laurel Mall in Hazleton, PA, 1-4. And then to Lebanon, PA, at the Waldenbooks in August & the Waldenbooks in LaVale again in September.

The last few days have been a blur of sweaty activity. Get your minds outta the gutter. I've been drywalling the ceiling in my upstairs bathroom. I added another layer of joint compund; now I'm waiting for it to dry so I can sand & paint the ceiling. I also managed to scrape one wall & add a layer of primer. One wall down, three to go. The tile is green marble, so I chose a nice white like the veining in the marble for the top third of the wall. The green marble is from there to the floor, including the floor.

Technically only two rooms left to drywall the ceiling. Three more to joint compound the ceiling. But the end is in sight after more than a year. I say in the next month I'll be down to painting & that kind of stuff. And I hung the pot rack in the kitchen and put the red Farbreware pots & pans on the hooks; it looks very nice.

The roof over the patio in the back will still need replacing but that will be a project for later in the summer, maybe August.

I've also been working on A Taste of Fate--the first book outside my Scarabae Saga--and making good progress. I'm about 18 pages into the manuscript. It will be a good old fashioned mystery with a bit of the supernatural & humor. I think you'll all like it. And I haven't forgotten book 4 of my Scarabae Saga--Shadows Amongst the Moonlight; I'm over 40 pages into the manuscript.

I completed the first round of edits on the reissue of Into the Mirror Black; and I look forward to the second round and to seeing the new cover art.

That's about all for now. Back to working on the house.

Nighty-nightmares,
F~
