It was a great success. My friend Charlene Haines made the trip together, as we usually go to signings together. We have the best times together and it makes every trip fun.

And my good friend David Boyle from New Jersey made the trek to be with us. It was nice to meet in person after all these years. And I still owe him a copy of my new book.

Except for a snafu at the hotel, it was a most excellent trip. Lots of readers came out to see me and get copies of their books signed. I love meeting the people who enjoy reading my books.

I got to visit with my friend Heather Lloyd. She organized the event and she needs to be applauded for such a great effort and a fantastic success.

My lovely friend Savannah Russe and I actually managed to snare a few minutes to socialize. And she brought me an awesome black marble table.

I was being all good and everything and my friend Neal had to just egg me on, twisting all my innocent comments into something warped. Because, as you all know, I am innocent, virtuous, wholesome, nutritious, and delicious.

And David and I were seated next to horror greats J.F. Gonzalez and Brian Keene. Great guys with senses of humor that are very similar to mine. And I got invited back to do a signing in November with the two gentleman.
