UPDATE...

Good evening, all you sexy people out there in the dark.

I wanted to give you a general update on things.

The reissue of Into the Mirror Black is underway. I am awaiting the final glimpse before we go to press. The newly minted book should see the light of day by mid-March. We fixed as many of those pesky errors as we could find and the new cover and author photo are most excellent--like graphic designer extraordinaire Laura would do substandard work.

And I am working on book six Shadows Amongst the Moonlight. Just wait until you see the cover for this one. I love it. Laura will have outdone her wonderful self. Of course, I will need a new author photo for the book. You will love my return to the world of the more-than-mortals you first glimpsed in Angels of the Seventh Dawn.

I do have to tell you my Angels of the Mourning Light was nominated in Preditors & Editors reader poll for horror novel of the year. It is somewhat a ghost story so technically I guess it belongs in horror. As of the close of the poll it was sitting nicely at number 5; I'm now awaiting official work of the standings and then I will let you know. If I stayed in the top ten, this is the fourth consecutive year for me to do and that is quite a feat: 4 years, 4 different books.

Check into the fan page on Facebook for me: Frank Bittinger Fan Club. It's the beginning of a huge push for publicity for me.

And I am looking forward to working on the second annual booksigning to benefit local animals with my friend and fellow author Charlene Haines in May or June.

Speaking of June, that is my birthday month. I am looking forward to celebrating by donating a set of 18 hardcover books to both my hometown library in Grantsville, MD, and the branch in LaVale, MD. I want to get a picture of me donating the books to the libraries and a blurb in the newspapers. I'm sending out feelers to see what can be done about it.

Okay, that is about it for now.

Nighty-nightmares,
Frank
