Once again you’ve come back to me. Welcome to my lair, all you sexy people out there in the dark. Come in, come in. Relax and enjoy yourselves.

Allow me to thank all you wonderful people who constantly and consistently support me and my efforts on behalf of those who don’t have voices to ask for help for themselves: the animals.

This year has been a wonder and ground-breaking year. I have participated in many benefit signings this year with such fantastic friends and fellow authors such as New York Times bestselling author Brian Keene—who has been crowned the King of Zombies—and USA Today bestselling author Savannah Russe—who has been praised as the Queen of Vampire secret agents.

And because of all you caring people, we have been able to raise thousands of dollars not only to help save some rescues from closing, but to help care for and find homes for animals in need. Thank you for caring.

We have also raised money for other great causes such as libraries and food banks. Each of you helps make a positive change in the lives of people who find themselves in tough situations.

So please continue to help. Each dollar does make a difference.

On behalf of those you have helped so far, I say thank you.

Keep an eye on my official website FrankEBittinger.com and my Fan Page on Facebook for upcoming events.

In addition to working on my books, I’ve started a non-profit corporation so I can continue to help as many animals as I possibly can. The Shadow Organization is up and running and you can find us on Facebook. Feel free to like our page and to invite all your friends. We can make a difference to those who don’t have a voice to ask for help themselves.

Our email address is theshadoworg@hotmail.com and we accept donations through PayPal; and after our 501(c)(3) is approved by the government, all donations with a receipt will be tax deductible.

So in celebration of my birthday next June, I will once again be holding a big benefit at the Waldenbooks in the Country Club Mall in LaVale, MD. And at that fundraiser for The Shadow Organization, my fourth book Shadows Amongst the Moonlight will be officially released.

We have been able to find homes for 7 cats over the last two months. So we are off to a fantastic start already. Our goal is to be able to provide food and vet care to animals in need. We also want to help people who have fallen on hard times but don’t want to relinquish or abandon their companion animals.

And I got a new bed. A big, king size bed. With columns that are over 8 ½ feet tall. I can lean up against the big headboard in my blood red bedroom and read all night, pr curl up under the blankets and sleep the day away.

But maybe that’s giving away just a bit too much information. I know you’re picturing it, so go ahead and enjoy.

Speaking of reading, if you have not tried reading J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series, give it a shot. After reading the first 6 of the 8 books she has published, I find I’m enjoying the hell out of the books. She can certainly write a spicy scene, and who doesn’t love a sexy vampire?!

Okay, that’s about all for my update.

Until next time…

Nighty-nightmares,

F~
