Sunday, 4 December 2011: Pecan Pie & More...

Today I had a very productive day. I do have those once in awhile.

I wrote a little. Shadows Amongst the Moonlight is resting at just under 75,000 words. My novella for holiday season 2012, A Christmas Canticle, is resting at just about 10,000 words for the moment.

The birds have nice, clean houses and the kitty boxes are all clean as well. And the birds also had some of the leftover graham crackers for a snack.

And I made a homemade vegan pecan pie, including the graham cracker crust, today. It turned out great. It was actually very simple when it came right down to making it. Since it's so easy and it's my favorite pie, I can assure you I will be making it more often.

I also read the newest manuscript from my friend Charlee. Draculab is the sequel to Chihuawolf. Both books are great reads for the younger set. Chihuawolf has been available since October this year. Draculab will most likely be published in 2012.

I even had time to rewatch what I think will be my favorite show of the new season: I Hate My Teenage Daughter. To be fair, I rarely watch television shows because the ones I get interested in usually end up canceled very quickly. Quality shows such as The Gates, Eastwick, and Happy Town to name a few. I watched this show and laughed so hard I had to rewind the DVR I don't know how many times. FOX has a real winner with this one if only they allow it time to grow and find an audience.

Of course, like so many of you sexy people out there in the dark, I've become enamored, enthralled with the dark and twisted American Horror Story on FX. We all know my favorite story of all time is a haunted house and the house on this show is spectacularly filled with spooks. Now, hopefully the story behind why all this started will be unraveled...there had to be a reason beyond just the first killing in the house. Maybe the beautiful house was built upon soured soil.

Okay, that's about all for my update. Be sure to keep creeping back to my lair. I promise to try to be disciplined enough to make regular entries.

Nighty-nightmares.
